Agnieszka Bloch is a Polish artist, now living and working in Dublin. Having studied philosophy and psychology to better understand the human condition and especially the experience of fear; Agnieszka utilises these topics as the core themes of her ink drawings. Influenced by the eerie artworks of Edward Gorey, Tim Burton and the intricate lines of Chris Riddell, along with great masters such as Francisco Goya, Honore Daumier and Kathe Kollwitz, Agnieszka became captivated by the expressive power of black and white and began using ink as her medium of choice. Agnieszka has recently transitioned into painting and lino cut works in her current practice.
