The Presentation Arts Centre was proud to present Beautiful Day, an exhibition of work by Wexford Residential Intellectual Disability Service artists.
Guided by visual artist Oonagh Latchford working in conjunction with WRIDS and County Wexford Arts Department, artists at WRIDS have created a body of work for Beautiful Day that showcases their boundless creativity in a powerful combination of colour, texture, imagination and technique. The work on display in this exhibition was created as part of the Art Ability programme at the Wexford County Council Arts Department. The Art Ability program, running since 2003, is a key priority in Wexford County Council’s Art Plan “Advancing the Arts” 2018-22, through supporting and promoting the development of socially inclusive, sustainable communities in County Wexford and continuing to ensure that artists are supported to make great work that can be enjoyed by all, a vision shared by the Presentation Centre and the Wexford Arts Centre in their mantra, Arts for All, Arts for Life. This exhibition was on display at the Presentation Arts Centre, Convent Road, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford until 13th March 2020. |
